Dr. Yasar Amin received MS degree in Electrical Engineering (with specialization in System on Chip SOC Design) from Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, and an MBA degree from the University of Turku, Finland. His Ph.D. is done in communication (with specialization in RFID and Microwave Engineering). He has authored and co-authored around 50research papers and several book chapters published in various journals, books, and conferences of international repute. He is being greatly involved in several RFIP based projects with hybrid specifications. He was contributed to different admin and development work as well. He has a great knowledge of RFID, WSN, and IoT services. He is also served as an organizing committee for the international conference as well. He is a life member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), professional member of IEEE, IET (Japan), ACES (USA), and ITU. He is also a member of Amnesty International and a faculty sponsor of Advanced Computing as a Science and Profession (ACM). He is also an approved supervisor for Ph.D. candidates in Pakistan. He is currently associated with the University of Technology (UET), Taxila as an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Telecommunication Engineering Department, Taxila. Additionally, he is also Project Director (HEC PC-1) for the provision of basic infrastructure and establishment of the Telecommunication Engineering Department at UET, Taxila.
