Dr. Muhammad Imran Aslam

Dr. Muhammad Imran Aslam received ME degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005 and BE in 2001 from NED University of Engineering and Technology. During his Ph.D. Studies, he accomplished his research work on “Negative Index metamaterials and metaspacers for optical frequencies”. He has authored and co-authored around 40 research papers and published them in various journals, books, and conferences of international repute. He is a life member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and a professional member Pakistan Academy of Engineering. He is also an approved supervisor for Ph.D. candidates in Pakistan. He is contributing greatly to the research field of wireless channel modeling, free-space optics, metamaterials, metaspacers, and negative index materials. On his contributions to metamaterials and metaspacers research domain, he has been invited to various conferences as a keynote speaker and he has attended and presented different papers at international conferences and workshops. He has around 20 years of teaching experience atthe NED University of Engineering and Technology. Currently, he is associated with NED University of Engineering & Technology as Associate Professor in the Electronics Engineering Department (specialization Telecom).Additionally, he is also a member of the ETRG group.
