Dr. Muhammad Khalid received M.Phil degree in Microelectronics Engineering and Semiconductor Physics in 2007 from Microelectronic Research Centre, University of Punjab, Lahore, and MS in Electronics (Applied Physics) from the University of Karachi. During his Ph.D. studies, he accomplished his research work in Microelectronics/Nanotechnology at HEC Scholarship. He has authored and co-authored around 30 research papers and several book chapters published in various journals, books, and conferences of international repute.He is a life member of Pakistan Institute of Physics (PIP), Society for Solid State Physics (S3P), and member of BOS, Physics, BUTTEMS, Quetta. He was awarded with a grant by HEC, Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics and BUTTEMS, Quetta for different research-based projects. He is also an approved supervisor for Ph.D. candidates in Pakistan. On the basis of his contributions in the Microelectronics field, he was invited as a keynote speaker in various national, international conferences and workshops. His main research interest includes nanomaterials, investigation of materials properties, and wide bandgap semiconductors for power electronics. He is also served as an organizing committee for the international conference as well. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience in different colleges and universities. He is also worked as a Research Associate in Department of Electrical Engineering, University of South Carolina, Columbia, USA. He is currently associated with the University of Karachi as an Assistant Professor.
